Atlanta Kashruth Commission is a non-profit Orthodox organization dedicated to promoting Kashruth through education, research, and supervision. It was established over 45 years ago by Rabbi Emanuel Feldman. The Commission currently certifies close to 150 companies, manufacturing facilities, bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, and caterers throughout the country. Working closely with major certifying agencies, the AKC has developed a worldwide reputation in the field of kosher supervision.

In addition to being a nationally recognized Kosher Certifying Agency, the AKC:

  • Researches and monitors new developments in the food industry

  • Publishes a newsletter with the latest information about kosher products and issues

  • Conducts educational seminars for consumers and institutions

  • Supports a hotline to answer kosher related questions.
