Atlanta Kashruth Commission is a
non-profit Orthodox organization dedicated to
promoting Kashruth through education,
research, and supervision. It was established in the
1970's by Rabbi
Emanuel Feldman. The Commission
currently certifies close to 150
companies, manufacturing facilities,
bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, and
caterers throughout the country. Working
closely with major certifying agencies,
the AKC has developed a worldwide
reputation in the field of kosher
supervision.
In addition to being a nationally
recognized Kosher Certifying Agency, the AKC:

Researches and monitors new
developments in the food industry

Publishes a newsletter with the latest
information about kosher products and
issues

Sends out
e-mail alerts

Conducts educational seminars for
consumers and institutions

Supports a hotline to answer kosher-related questions.
